How Wings Studio Handles Your Data

Last updated: May 20, 2026

This notice explains how Wings Studio, Cognet Inc.'s environment for long-horizon work, collects and uses information during beta testing and beyond. We cover how your workspace data, graph entities, and agent interactions are handled with transparency and security at the forefront.

Information We Collect

  • Contact details you provide, including email address and any optional context you share when joining the Wings Studio waitlist or beta program.
  • Workspace usage data including pages created, cards composed, graph entities defined, and agent workflows executed within Wings Studio.
  • Technical metadata such as browser type, screen resolution, session duration, and feature interaction patterns to improve the Wings Studio experience.
  • Content you create in the platform including notes, schemas, diagrams, and canvas drawings, handled according to this notice and your workspace settings.

How We Use Your Information

  • Send Wings Studio updates, feature announcements, beta invitations, and onboarding guides specific to workspace features.
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve graph memory performance, UI responsiveness, and agent execution reliability.
  • Provide personalized support based on your Wings Studio usage, including tips for composing project surfaces and optimizing agent workflows.
  • Monitor platform stability, prevent abuse, and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.

Model Training and Research Boundaries

  • We do not use raw workspace content, notes, files, schemas, diagrams, or canvas drawings to train or fine-tune foundation models without your explicit opt-in.
  • Product diagnostics, aggregate usage patterns, feedback, and derived evaluation signals may be used to improve Wings Studio, including graph memory performance, agent reliability, and workflow quality.
  • If we request trajectory contributions for research, we will make that contribution opt-in and describe the applicable retention, redaction, and deletion controls at the time you contribute.

When We Share Data

  • Infrastructure and operational service providers, if used, that help host, deliver, secure, or support Wings Studio. We require appropriate security and data-processing terms where applicable.
  • AI model or inference providers, if used to provide requested product features, process workspace content only for those features under appropriate data-processing terms; we do not authorize them to train their general models on your workspace content.
  • Analytics or diagnostics services, if enabled, that help us understand Wings Studio usage patterns and improve the platform.
  • Professional advisors or regulators if required to comply with law, enforce our Terms, protect rights, or respond to lawful requests.

How Long We Keep It

  • Waitlist contacts remain active until you opt out or 18 months after Wings Studio general availability, whichever comes first.
  • Wings Studio workspace content is retained during beta and for 90 days after, allowing you to export your data before deletion.
  • Usage analytics and feedback are kept for up to 24 months to improve Wings Studio features and performance.
  • Opt-in research or trajectory contributions follow the retention terms presented when you contribute them and can be revoked subject to those controls.
  • If we discover someone under 18 has accessed Wings Studio, their account and data are removed immediately upon verification.

Your Choices

  • Export your Wings Studio workspace data at any time through the platform's export features (JSON, CSV formats available).
  • Opt out of Wings Studio communications using the unsubscribe link in emails or by contacting privacy@cognet.ai.
  • Request correction or deletion of your Wings Studio account and associated data by emailing privacy@cognet.ai with identity verification.
  • Choose whether to contribute research trajectories or feedback when those programs are offered, and request deletion or redaction through the controls described at contribution time.
  • Control workspace sharing and collaboration settings directly within Wings Studio's privacy controls.

Security

  • Wings Studio uses commercially reasonable safeguards for workspace data, including authenticated access, encrypted transport, and restricted internal access.
  • Agent execution and infrastructure access are designed to limit unnecessary exposure of workspace content.
  • Beta participant data is accessible only to authorized Cognet team members on a need-to-know basis.

Changes

  • We may update this notice as Wings Studio evolves and new features are added. Material changes will be announced via email and in-app notifications at least 7 days before taking effect.
